Visit to Fairford and Kelmscott, September 2010

A visit with a difference, where the Glaziers joined up with members of the 20-Ghost Club to sample both the glories of mediaeval stained glass and the cream of 20th century engineering, in the form of over a dozen vintage Roll-Royce motor cars. After coffee at The Bull at Fairford we heard from Keith Barley the story of his 25-year restoration of the unique collection of mediaeval windows in St Mary's Church. Then by car (vintage car for the lucky few) to Warrens Cross Farm, the home of Stuart and Susan Lever, who generously entertained us to a magnificent lunch. Then on to Kelmscott, for a talk and visit to the home of Willam Morris.
