The Crucifixion – East Window (1.8mx3m)

The central theme of the design is the Crucifixion of Christ. The secondary image is that of an anchor which is represented at an angle, partially submerged by the sea.

The maritime symbolism refers to St Nicholas, the patron saint of sailors (and this church) but also refers to Christ, the Crucifixion and the meaning of His Sacrifice for humanity.
